Mobile Fall Prevention and Rehabilitation Services
Who are we?
Age In Balance is led by Physical Therapist, Dr. Victoria Ackel. Our team has over 50 years of combined experience as certified personal trainers, strength & conditioning coaches, youth sports coaches and athletes. Through our personal journeys and adversities we have learned healing must take place on a holistic level. We are a group of qualified trainers who have had the opportunity to work with people suffering from a broad range of conditions, diseases and injuries.

We treat our patients on a holistic level
We found working in an environment familiar to the patient, we get exponentially better results. Our sessions are not determined or limited by time. The amount of time we spend with each patient is contingent on response and recovery rates. It is likely that the amount of workload will increase as the patient shows improvements, however it is essential to progress in a slow, yet safe manner.
We are experienced with helping our patients make a smooth transition when faced with a life changing event or disease. By providing a niche that has been long overdue, we are here to help you and your loved one live out the remainder of their lives with purpose and joy.

Right team for your therapy
People at a higher risk of falling will need a more structured exercise program that focuses on their individual weaknesses or problems. These programs usually involve building functional strength and cover movements you use daily. These functional movements include sitting to standing, transferring your weight, and reaching. Regardless of what you choose, the key is to get moving and stay active. Any program that includes balance, strength training and mobility work will exponentially improve overall function.
